Rimowa Revisits its 1988 Design

Rimowa releases a new edition based on a 1988 design from its archive. Informally known as the travel case for young people, the original model marked the brand’s shift into the aesthetics of the late 1980s, defined by synthetic materials and saturated colour.

The 2025 version is built from lightweight polycarbonate, with structural elements drawn from the Original collection. It includes a removable shoulder strap and a colour-matched interior with mesh dividers and contrast detailing.

Available in blue, yellow, or red, the Rimowa Holiday Case is released in limited quantities through selected stores and rimowa.com.
