With a newly expanded à la carte menu and a reimagined Fwala ritual, Gerbou deepens its ongoing dialogue between tradition and reinvention.
Afternoons at Gerbou now unfold through Fwala - a curated tray of delicate, sweet and savoury bites served daily from 3 to 6pm. From Chebab with Honey to Chocolate Cardamom Truffles, this slow ritual honours a regional tradition of pausing between meals to reconnect and share.
Curated by Executive Chef Ionel Catau, the offering blends Emirati heritage with precise storytelling -familiar flavours appear alongside thoughtful additions like Loomi Kebab Paratha, Pumpkin Burrata, and Ghaf Honey Cake. The result is generous yet restrained, nostalgic yet quietly new.
