At the intersection of design, culture, and critical discourse, Prada Frames returns to Milan for its fourth edition — this year under the title In Transit. Curated once again by Formafantasma, the symposium unfolds in parallel with Salone del Mobile, offering a multi-day program that traces the infrastructures that shape how people, goods, and ideas move across the world.
Set within the restored Arlecchino train and the Padiglione Reale at Milan’s Central Station, the format itself becomes part of the reflection — a moving landscape of thought. Through panels and conversations, the event addresses the visible and invisible systems that connect and constrain us: from AI’s impact on cities to the logistics of global trade, from surveillance infrastructures to biomaterials and ecological migration routes. Participants include thinkers like Alice Rawsthorn, Paola Antonelli, Hito Steyerl, Kate Crawford, and many others, bridging disciplines and reimagining infrastructure not as static backdrop, but as a space of power, memory, and potential transformation.
