Paddock by Hermès is an eau de parfum shaped by memory and the sensory world of the stables. Created by Christine Nagel, Director of Olfactory Creation at Hermès, the fragrance captures the atmosphere surrounding a horse—not only its scent, but everything that touches it.
The composition recalls the warmth of straw and hay, the sharpness of pine tar and cade oil, the softness of oiled leather, and the unmistakable vegetal trace of feed and earth. At its core, Paddock reflects the layered intimacy between animal and environment, assembled not through fantasy but close observation.

The idea begins with Hermès Ryan, a horse Nagel encountered during Le Saut Hermès. What stays with her is the scent of its presence: textured, alive, and unfiltered. That moment becomes the foundation for a fragrance that resists conventional beauty in favour of something grounded and emotional.
