Continuing its journey into the world of independent watchmaking, Louis Vuitton introduces the LVKV-02 GMR 6 in collaboration with Kari Voutilainen. This limited-edition timepiece, produced in just five pieces, reflects the combined savoir-faire of La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton and the Voutilainen workshop.
The watch is housed in a tantalum case with platinum accents, measuring 40.5mm in diameter. At its core, the GMR 6 calibre is hand-crafted by Voutilainen, showcasing traditional finishes such as Côtes de Genève and perlage. Each movement is detailed with a miniature-painted motif, visible through the transparent caseback.

The gold dial is a study in artisanal precision—hand-guilloché at the Brodbeck workshop and hand-painted in 28 colors by Maryna Bossy at La Fabrique des Arts. The result is a visual language that merges Louis Vuitton’s Damier with Voutilainen’s signature waves. The timepiece is presented in a bespoke trunk, crafted in the Maison’s Asnières atelier, further anchoring the design in Louis Vuitton’s legacy of travel and craftsmanship.
