Loro Piana presents "If You Know, You Know. Loro Piana’s Quest for Excellence" at the Museum of Art Pudong in Shanghai. Running from March 22 to May 5, 2025, the exhibition marks the brand’s centenary and is the first time the institution hosts a luxury house.
Curated by Judith Clark, the exhibition reflects on Loro Piana’s material language, sourcing geographies, and six-generation family history. Structured as a sequence of landscape-inspired spaces, the show brings together archival documents, contemporary artworks, heirloom textiles, and newly created silhouettes.

Works from the Sergio and Luisa Loro Piana Collection appear alongside pieces by Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Enrico Castellani, and Emilio Vedova.

Thirty-three ensembles were developed specifically for the exhibition, presented in dialogue with the territories that inform Loro Piana’s fibre sourcing. A laboratory section focuses on quality control and material precision, while contributions by Adriana Meunié, Qiu Zhijie, and a group of Chinese composers extend the conversation across disciplines and locations.
