During Art Dubai 2025, La Page M met with Simone Gibertoni, CEO of Clinique La Prairie, and Olga Donica, Head of Innovation & Longevity, to explore how the Swiss pioneer in holistic health redefines the boundaries between science, culture, and beauty. Inside the brand’s serene Longevity Lounge, the conversation unfolded around art as a medium for transformation, time as the ultimate luxury, and why longevity today is not just a protocol—but a living, evolving art form.

La Page M: How do you define this Art of Longevity—and in what ways does it mirror the kind of investment we typically associate with culture or creativity?
Olga Donica: That’s a very important observation. I think the essence of Clinique La Prairie can be understood quite simply, even though it’s built on complexity. We bring together three essential elements in our headquarters in Montreux: the science of longevity medicine, luxury hospitality, and wellbeing. These elements are combined to create a 360-degree experience for our guests—what we call the starting point of their longevity journey.
In this context, art becomes part of our mission. Longevity is not only science—it is, in itself, an art. The Art of longevity is about crafting meaningful interventions that are transformative and lasting.
Just like acquiring a piece of art is a financial investment, investing in your own longevity is about time. It’s about dedicating effort, discipline, and resources to transform your life. And yes, time today is the ultimate luxury. When a guest comes to us, we guide them on the path, but they must take an active role: in their health, lifestyle, and mindset. That’s where real change begins.
You cannot achieve longevity in a weekend or even in one week, though we do offer clinical programs within that timeframe. But those are just starting points—a gateway into a long-term transformation. To build what we call “longevity capital,” you must continuously expose your body, mind, and social life to nourishing, meaningful inputs. Over time, this creates real strength, resilience, and elevation in performance and wellbeing.

La Page M: Clinique La Prairie places growing emphasis on both women’s longevity and the work of female artists. What inspired this intersection, and how does the support of women’s artistic expression reflect the clinic’s broader vision of care and cultural engagement?
Olga Donica: In fact, we’ve been increasingly focused on women’s longevity in recent years—it’s become a major theme in our work. Women and men age in very different ways. Their health needs and the actions they take to care for themselves are also different. That’s why we feel it’s essential to dedicate real, focused attention to women. It requires something quite special—almost artistic, in a way—to truly understand and support women in improving their longevity, especially as health can become more fragile at certain stages of life.
As part of this, we also support artistic expression—particularly by women. In our spaces, we regularly host temporary art exhibitions in the common areas, so that our guests are constantly surrounded by thought-provoking, meaningful works.
We focus on art that reflects important societal values—sustainability, transformation, beauty seen through a holistic lens. In that sense, art becomes part of our wider approach to wellbeing. Every six months, the exhibitions are renewed. It’s not exactly on the scale of Art Dubai, of course, but it’s something very meaningful to us.
We believe that the more beauty the eye and the body are exposed to, the more positively it impacts the mind and overall wellbeing. It’s about awakening something within—the artistic, emotional side of being.

La Page M: How the renewed collaboration between Clinique La Prairie and La Prairie cosmetics came to be—and how it aligns with your evolving vision of longevity?
Olga Donica: Clinique La Prairie is a longevity clinic, and Laboratoires La Prairie — or La Prairie skincare—is a separate cosmetics brand. The clinic originally created the skincare brand, but we sold it 30 years ago, so we no longer own it. However, after many years without the brand in our facilities, about a year ago we signed an official partnership and collaboration.
Today, La Prairie cosmetics are once again part of our spa and skincare offerings. They support our overall approach to longevity.
Skin, like any other organ, is impacted by the mechanisms of aging. So skincare becomes part of a larger conversation—how to enhance skin longevity. And this partnership goes beyond simply having the products available in our clinics. It’s a deeper collaboration to co-develop new products designed and formulated jointly by the scientific teams at Clinique La Prairie and La Prairie cosmetics.
The focus now is shifting: skincare is moving toward longevity. It’s about creating holistic formulas using meaningful, potent ingredients that can truly affect how our cells age—especially at the level of the skin. So the upcoming product releases will reflect this tight collaboration between both science teams.
