The 2025 edition of Art Dubai brings a dynamic and expanded program, reinforcing its position as a leading cultural platform in the Middle East. Set to take place at Madinat Jumeirah from April 18 to 20, with exclusive previews on April 16 and 17, this year’s fair introduces new commissions, collaborations, and thought-provoking discussions.

A highlight of the program is a multi-year partnership with Alserkal Avenue, launching with performances and site-specific installations by Mexican artist Héctor Zamora.

Emirati artist Mohammed Kazem presents a groundbreaking digital commission supported by Julius Baer, while Total Arts at the Courtyard and Ouchhh Studio push the boundaries of artistic expression through technology-driven works. Among the standout digital installations, Carbon Wake by New York-based artist Breakfast visualizes real-time global energy consumption, transforming collected data into a kinetic display that reflects the environmental impact of human activity.

Alongside its gallery exhibitions, Art Dubai continues to serve as a global forum for ideas and discourse. The 2025 edition of the Global Art Forum, titled “The New New Normal,” explores the evolving intersections of technology, society, and creativity, with insights from leading thinkers, artists, and innovators.

Art Dubai 2025 will also showcase Emergencia, a compelling installation by Paula Caballero, along with works by artists such as Ania Soliman, whose monumental installation Kahrabaa explores the intersections of technology and nature, and Jacopo Di Cera, whose piece Retreat captures the urgency of climate action through a striking visual representation of glacial melting.

Education and community engagement remain central to Art Dubai’s mission, with the A.R.M. Holding Children’s Programme continuing to nurture young creative minds. This year’s collaboration between artists Peju Alatise and Alia Hussain Lootah introduces children to the artistic exploration of ecology and sustainability, fostering a deeper connection to the natural world.
