At Khawla Art & Culture in Abu Dhabi, a new group exhibition titled Voices and Visions places Arab women artists not as a theme, but as a presence—diverse, multilayered, and fiercely individual.
Curated by Rayan Emad Hakki, the show gathers works by Fatma Lootah, Fatimah Al Nemer, Mariam Abbas, and Hend Rashed, among others, spotlighting the evolving visual languages shaping the region’s contemporary scene.

Voices and Visions offers a chorus of perspectives—at once intimate and expansive. The exhibition challenges viewers to consider not just the narratives presented, but the ways in which they are framed: quietly, boldly, or emotionally.

Organised by Khawla Art & Culture, an initiative founded by Her Highness Sheikha Khawla bint Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Suwaidi, the exhibition reflects the centre’s ongoing mission to champion regional creatives and foster cultural discourse. Voices and Visions runs until May 6, 2025.
