For four evenings in April, Thiptara at Palace Downtown invites guests into a quiet celebration of renewal and tradition. In honor of Songkran, the Thai New Year, the restaurant presents a five-course set menu that traces the contours of Thai flavor with elegance and restraint.
Running from April 12 to 15, between 6pm and 11:30pm, the experience is framed by the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain, and a soft sense of occasion.
The evening begins with Miang Kham Goong — a composition of jumbo prawn, green mango, Thai chili, and coconut — followed by a locally inspired chicken and lemongrass skewer. A traditional Tom Yam Goong draws from the depth of shellfish broth, while the main course, Kana Nuea Nam Man Hoy, pairs Wagyu tenderloin with Thai broccoli, garlic chips, and jasmine rice. The meal closes on a gentle note with Thailand’s beloved sticky rice with mango, pandan, and coconut.
