QASIMI and ASWAD unveil a new collaboration where contemporary design meets heritage craftsmanship. The collection of small leather goods reflects a dialogue between two brands grounded in culture, art, and a shared sensitivity to movement—both physical and emotional.
This collaboration is a convergence of creative values. Under the direction of Hoor Al Qasimi, QASIMI continues to explore identity, resistance, and place through its evolving menswear lens. ASWAD, rooted in Moroccan heritage and French savoir-faire, mirrors that search for purpose through craft.
“I discovered a collection strongly inspired by a language that spoke to me,” says Sonia Ahmimou, recalling the moment she encountered QASIMI’s work. “I appreciate the idea that one can wander with their home on their back.”
From oversized pockets to modular belts, each piece tells a story of functionality layered with intent. Designed by Sonia Ahmimou, founder of ASWAD and alumna of Louis Vuitton and Hermès, the pieces carry a nomadic ethos: refined, utilitarian, and quietly poetic.
