Chef Izu Ani’s all-day café, La Petite Ani, is quietly shifting into summer mode with a refreshed seasonal menu that captures the spirit of Dubai’s sunlit days and long, shared lunches.
Nestled in DIFC’s Gate Avenue and now available via Deliveroo, the café continues its signature offering of elevated comfort food—this time with a warmer, richer palette of seasonal flavors.
The new dishes speak to Izu Ani’s culinary language: intuitive, rooted in memory, and never overworked. Think shakshuka with a whisper of spice and a handful of fresh coriander, lasagna with layers of depth, and a croissant open-faced with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Other highlights include a grilled halloumi sandwich layered with rocket and pesto, and poached eggs over labneh with hazelnut crust and chili oil.
“This menu is about warmth. Food that’s simple, that speaks to people,” Chef Izu shares. “Not everything has to be new. But everything should feel like it was made with care.”
With understated touches and dishes designed for conversation rather than show, La Petite Ani’s summer chapter continues what the café has always done best—serving thoughtful food in a setting that feels effortlessly personal.
